Hi, I’m Shaina—the writer, curator, and heart behind Hear Hymn Books.

I’ve always been drawn to quiet spaces, meaningful words, and stories that make you slow down for a moment. Most days, you can find me with coffee nearby and a notebook open, paying close attention to the ways God speaks through ordinary things we are tempted to rush past.

Hear Hymn Books began as a place for writing and reflection, but the vision continues to grow. Right now, HHB is beginning online as a curated bookstore, offering new and used books as well as bookish merchandise.

The long-term dream is to create a tucked-away physical space where books, music, creativity, and community come together in a place to browse, breathe, read, write, learn, and gather. I hope to eventually offer music books, writing and songwriting workshops, and perhaps even a music room filled with instruments and opportunities to create.

It’s the kind of dream that checks every box for this small-town girl.
